TOPO Finnland Pro Country-wide DVD
Garmin Europe is pleased to announce the most detailed topographic maps for Finland, now available in Garmin format in two different DVD products: TOPO Finland Pro Regional and TOPO Finland Pro Country-wide (the whole of the country). TOPO Finland includes five different kinds of maps in one product: topographic maps, cadastral boundaries, routable auto navigation maps, coastal charts and inland lakes charts.
TOPO Finland (also called Suomi Pro) is based on the most accurate Finnish topography data and is comparable to 1:5,000-1:10,000 scale maps. Suomi Pro also includes cadastral boundaries for hunting and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) for compatible Garmin units. Maps also include a large number of hiking destinations and routes provided by the Metsähallitus (Finnish Forestry Administration).
TOPO Finland Pro comes in two different DVD versions:

TOPO Finland Pro Regional comes with one unlock code voucher which allows opening one of the 6 regions on the DVD. The selectable regions (see image below) are:
Region 1: Uusimaa, Finland Proper, Satakunta, Tavastia Proper, Pirkanmaa, Aland, Central Finland (partly)
Region 2: Eastern Uusimaa, Päijänne Tavastia, Kymenlaakso, Southern-Karelia, Southern-Savonia, Central Finland (partly)
Region 3: Southern Ostrobothnia, Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, Northern Ostrobothnia (partly), Central Finland (partly)
Region 4: Northern Savonia, Northern Karelia, Kainuu, Northern Ostrobothnia (partly)
Region 5: Southern Lapland, Northern Ostrobothnia (partly), Kainuu (partly)
Region 6: Northern Lapland

TOPO Finland Pro Country-wide comes with one unlock code voucher which opens the entire DVD and mapping for the territory of the whole of Finland
These two DVD products include Garmin’s MapSource, which offers the ability to plan and manage trips, routes and waypoints on both computer and GPS. Built-in DEM data supports 3-D terrain shading and route elevation profiles to help estimate terrain grade. With routable roads in both metropolitan and rural areas, the user can find his/her destination easily, aided by an extensive POI dataset.
Compatible units include: Oregon™ series, Colorado™ series, GPSMAP® 60Cx /CSxseries, GPSMAP® 76Cx/CSx series, eTrex HCx series, nuvi® series.
PC requirements: Windows 2000 or newer, 256 MB RAM, at least 800 x 600 display, 16-bit color monitor, 1 GB free disk space, USB and/or serial port, Internet access is required for the unlock process, cable and GPS not included.
